Professional Experience:

From 2013 to 2015, Ventsislav Benov consulted as an external expert for the Directorate General “European Funds and International Projects” at the Employment Agency regarding public procurement for beneficiaries under the Operational Program Human Resources Development, as well as participated in the preparation and conduct of public procurement by the Employment Agency itself.

In 2015, Ventsislav Benov consulted both the Ministry of Culture and the National Gallery in connection with the preparation and conduct of public procurement under the Public Procurement Act. From 2015 to present, Ventsislav Benov has participated as a chair or member of over 20 evaluation committees under the Public Procurement Act.

From 2016 to 2018, Ventsislav Benov consulted as an external expert for the “Working Conditions” Fund at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy regarding comprehensive legal services and compliance control of procedures conducted by the Fund's beneficiaries.

In 2020, Ventsislav Benov participated as an external expert regarding European funding in two projects of the World Bank – Bulgaria Public Expenditure Review in Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as RAS Croatia Public Expenditure Review in Science, Technology and Innovation.

From 2020 to present, Ventsislav Benov is also responsible for business development at the most authoritative non-governmental organization in the field of innovation and innovation policies in Bulgaria – ARC Fund (Foundation for Applied Research and Communications).
